I’ve always felt sad for Dr. Frankentein’s monster. He was really innocent and child like and he got nothing but rejection and anger from everyone he met. All he wanted was to feel loved and belong to something. Instead, he got burned on the mill 🙁
This is why I paint him every year on Halloween. To remind myself that looks are only skin deep and that we should look to the heart.
this mixed media painting was made on a metallic setting, created with an alchemy of oils, acrylics, pastels, pencils, pigments and a finishing cracked patina that gives it a very shabby and old look to it.
ready to hang or to be propped on a shelf, it will be an amazing addition to any Danita collector, and to any Halloween lover.
